Peptide Index is an educational and harm-reduction reference. We sell nothing, we host no sellers, and we make no money from your data. This policy explains the little we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
Peptide Index ("we", "us") is operated by [PLACEHOLDER — OPERATOR NAME], an individual based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, [PLACEHOLDER — OPERATOR NAME] is the data controller for this website, [PLACEHOLDER — DOMAIN].
You can reach us at any time at [PLACEHOLDER-EMAIL].
By default, nothing that identifies you. When you first arrive, we do not run analytics and we do not run the Meta Pixel. No advertising or analytics cookies are set until you choose to allow them.
The only exception is standard, short-lived server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability (for example, your IP address and the page requested). We do not use these for tracking or marketing.
If, and only if, you give consent through our cookie banner, we then collect:
Separately, if you sign up to our newsletter, we collect the email address you give us (and nothing more than that is required).
These are hard rules, not preferences:
Our entire value is trust. A privacy policy that promised one thing while the site did another would defeat the point, so we have built the site to match this page.
Here is the full list of what may be stored in your browser:
| Cookie / technology | Purpose | Set when | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every visit | Always (strictly necessary) | First-party |
| Privacy-friendly analytics | Aggregate visit measurement | Only after you consent | First-party / cookieless where possible |
Meta Pixel (e.g. _fbp) | Retargeting and lookalike audiences via generic events | Only after you consent | Meta (US) |
Our Meta Pixel ID, when active, is [PLACEHOLDER — PIXEL-ID]. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the site footer.
Our audience is global. Some of the providers we use are based outside the UK:
We only transfer the minimum described above, and never health or peptide-interest data.
Wherever you live, if we hold personal data about you, you can ask us to:
To exercise any of these, email [PLACEHOLDER-EMAIL]. We will not charge you or make it difficult. If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are elsewhere, your local data protection authority may also be able to help.
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has contacted us or signed up, email [PLACEHOLDER-EMAIL] and we will delete the data.
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes affecting your consent will be reflected in the cookie banner so you can review your choices.
Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy: [PLACEHOLDER-EMAIL].
